From Coast to Coast for Kids Cancer
A colleague of Paige's is doing something that I consider absolutely insane, wonderful, awesome, and downright inspiring. Erin Burrell is riding from Canada's coast to coast (yes *those* coasts - Vancouver to Halifax) in a fundraising effort for the Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation. http://www.ctcacf.org. Now let's put this into perspective, this is around 165km a day for 15 days!.
So, this morning at 5:30am we went down to the bike show where they were running a 24hr spin fundraising effort, both Paige and I got on and cranked out a few stationary kms' for the cause. The passion for these kids is just unbelievable. You know everyone involved is putting their heart and soul into it.
